Course overview
The Lash Technician Refresher Course is an online, text and PDF programme for technicians who are already qualified and working. Rather than teaching lashing from scratch, it reviews and corrects technique: isolation, placement, adhesive control, mapping, retention diagnostics, speed, corrective work on stickies, natural lash protection, consultation, infills, removal, styling improvement and client photography. Each module includes written lesson content, self-diagnosis exercises, professional tips, common mistakes and a knowledge check, finishing with a written practical assessment and a final exam.
What you'll learn

Accreditation
What is VTEC?
VTEC (Vocational Training & Education College) is a private training and course-accreditation framework developed and operated by The Bodywork Tantra Academy.
Our VTEC accreditation represents our own quality standards for the design, delivery and assessment of our training programmes. Courses accredited under the VTEC framework are private professional training courses and are not QQI qualifications and are not included on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
Students who successfully complete the Lash Technician Refresher Course course receive a VTEC Certificate of Completion issued by The Bodywork Tantra Academy.
Understanding QQI and VTEC
QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is Ireland's national quality assurance and qualifications body. QQI qualifications are part of Ireland's National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). VTEC operates separately as a private training and course-accreditation framework developed by The Bodywork Tantra Academy. Therefore, a VTEC Certificate of Completion should not be confused with a QQI qualification or an NFQ award.
If you are comparing accredited beauty courses Ireland and searching specifically for QQI accredited courses in Ireland, please note this programme is a private VTEC course rather than a QQI qualification. Many students study with us alongside, or instead of, QQI routes because our online courses are self-paced, assessed in writing and come with lifetime access.
Important Information About This Training
Online Theory & Practical Training Are Different
This course provides online theoretical education and knowledge relating to the selected treatment or subject.
Online study is an important part of learning, but the completion of an online course does not, by itself, demonstrate practical competence or qualify a learner to perform treatments or services professionally.
Practical skills should be developed and assessed through appropriate hands-on training and supervised practical assessment, where required.
Certificate of Completion
On successful completion of the online course requirements and final assessment, learners may receive a Certificate of Completion confirming that they have completed the online educational programme.
This certificate confirms completion of our training programme. It is not, unless expressly stated otherwise, a government qualification, regulated professional qualification, QQI award, accredited qualification, or licence to practise.
We do not guarantee that completion of this course will satisfy the requirements of any particular employer, insurer, local authority, professional body, accreditation organisation or other third party.
Before offering treatments or services professionally, learners are responsible for checking the training, practical assessment, insurance, registration, licensing, health and safety and other requirements that apply in their location. Requirements can vary between countries, regions, insurers and treatment types.
Practical Competence & Client Safety
Learners should not perform treatments or services on members of the public until they have obtained the appropriate practical training, supervision and competence required for the subject and their circumstances.
Treatments involving the eyes, skin, physical contact or chemical products may carry inherent risks. Learners must follow appropriate hygiene procedures, manufacturer instructions, contraindications, patch-testing requirements where relevant, and professional safety procedures.
This training is educational only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Responsibility of the Learner
The learner is responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate knowledge, practical skills, equipment, insurance and permissions required before providing any treatment or service professionally.
Where practical training or assessment is required, learners should obtain this from an appropriately qualified and competent trainer.
By purchasing this course, you acknowledge and understand these limitations.
