Course overview
Yoga for Recovery is an online, text-only course in yoga for rest and recovery. Every lesson is written study material with downloadable PDF notes: there are no videos and no live sessions. You will study the background and principles of the practice, a non-medical overview of the body and breath, written practice breakdowns, recovery sessions, rest planning and load awareness, sequencing and session design, non-medical safety and adaptations, planning and self-care, and the ethics of responsible teaching and self-practice. Online courses of this kind build knowledge and understanding; supervised, hands-on training is separate and is not part of this programme. Assessment is by knowledge checks, written assignments, a case study and a final written exam, and your certificate is issued as soon as you pass.
